Wilhelm Reich,
writing in his book,
Contact With Space:
“Am I a spaceman? Do I belong to a new race on Earth, bred by men from outer space in embraces with Earth women? Are my children offspring of the first interplanetary race? Has the melting-pot of interplanetary society already been created on our planet, as the melting-pot of all Earth nations was established in the USA 190 years ago? Or does this thought relate to things to come in the future? I request my right and privilege to have such thoughts and ask such questions without being threatened to be jailed by any administrative agency of society... In the face of a rigid, doctrinaire, self-appointed, ready to-kill hierarchy of scientific censorship it appears foolish to publish such thoughts. Anyone malignant enough could do anything with them. Still the right to be wrong has to be maintained. We should not fear to enter a forest because there are wildcats around in the trees. We should not yield our right to well-controlled speculation. It is certain questions entailed in such speculation which the administrators of established knowledge fear... But in entering the cosmic age we should certainly insist on the right to ask new, even silly questions without being molested.”
Wilhelm Reich died in a United States jail on November 3rd 1957.
You differ from a great man in only one respect: the great man was once a very little man, but he developed one important quality: he recognized the smallness and narrowness of his thoughts and actions. Under the pressure of some task that meant a great deal to him, he learned to see how his smallness, his pettiness endangered his happiness. In other words, a great man knows when and in what way he is a little man. A little man does not know he is little and is afraid to know. He hides his pettiness and narrowness behind illusions of strength and greatness, someone else's strength and greatness. He's proud of his great generals but not of himself. He admires an idea he has not had, not one he has had. The less he understands something, the more firmly he believes in it. And the better he understands an idea, the less he believes in it.”

The United States Declaration of Independence inspired many other similar documents in other countries, with its ideas gaining adherence in the Low Countries, as well as in the CaribbeanSpanish America, the BalkansWest Africa, and Central Europe in the decades up to 1848. The Declaration of Independence is the statement adopted by the Second Continental Congress meeting at the Pennsylvania State House (Independence Hall) in Philadelphia on July 4, 1776, which announced that the thirteen American colonies, then at war with the Kingdom of Great Britain, regarded themselves as thirteen newly independent sovereign states, and no longer under British rule. Instead they formed a new nation — the United States of AmericaJohn Adams was a leader in pushing for independence, which was passed on July 2 with no opposing vote cast. A committee of five had already drafted the formal declaration, to be ready when Congress voted on independence. The term "Declaration of Independence" is not used in the document itself.

Tau Ceti (τ Cet, τ Ceti)
is a star in the constellation Cetus that is spectrally similar to the Sun, although it has only about 78% of the Sun's mass. At a distance of just under 12 light-years (3.7 parsecs) from the Solar System, it is a relatively nearby star, and is the closest solitary G-class star. The star appears stable, with little stellar variation, and is metal-deficient. Observations have detected more than ten times as much dust surrounding Tau Ceti as is present in the Solar System. Since December 2012, there has been evidence of possibly five planets orbiting Tau Ceti, with two of these being potentially in the habitable zone. Because of its debris disk, any planet orbiting Tau Ceti would face far more impact events than Earth. Despite this hurdle to habitability, its solar analog (Sun-like) characteristics have led to widespread interest in the star. Given its stability, similarity and relative proximity to the Sun, Tau Ceti is consistently listed as a target for the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence (SETI), and it appears in some science fiction literature. It can be seen with the unaided eye as a third-magnitude star. As seen from Tau Ceti, the Sun would be a third-magnitude star in the northern hemisphere constellation Boötes. Burn Your Village To The Ground

In the course of the medieval German eastward expansionSlavic areas east of the Elbe were settled by traders & colonists from the overpopulated Northwest of Germany in the 12th & 13th centuries. In 1158, Henry the Lion founded Lübeck, in 1160 he conquered the Slavic principality of Schwerin. This partially violent colonisation was accompanied by the Christianisation of the Slavs & the foundation of dioceses at Ratzeburg, Schwerin, CamminBrandenburg & elsewhere.

The newly founded cities
soon joined the Hanseatic League
& formed the "Wendic Circle", with its centre at Lübeck,
& the "Gotland-Livland Circle", with its main centre at Tallinn (Reval).
The affluent trading cities of the Hansa were characterised especially by religious and profane representative architecture, such as council or parish churchestown hallsBürgerhäuser, i.e. the private dwellings of rich traders, or city gates. In rural areas, the monastic architecture of monks' orders had a major influence on the development of brick architecture, especially through the Cistercians & Premonstratensians. Between Prussia & Estonia, the Teutonic Knights secured their rule by erecting numerous Ordensburgen (castles), most of which were also brick-built. Wends (Old English: Winedas, Old Norse: Vindr, German: Wenden, Winden, Danish: vendere, Swedish: vender, Polish: Wendowie) is a historical name for the West Slavs living near Germanic settlement areas. It does not refer to a homogeneous people, but to various peoples, tribes or groups depending on where and when it is used.In t he Middle Ages the term "Wends" often referred to Western Slavs living within the Holy Roman Empire, though not always. Mieszko I, the first historical ruler of Poland, also appeared as "Dagome, King of the Wends" (Old Norse: Vindakonungr). The name has possibly survived in Finnic languages (Finnish: Venäjä, Estonian: Vene, Karelian: Veneä) denoting Russia.

Lübeck is a city in Schleswig-Holsteinnorthern Germany, & one of the major ports of Germany. On the river Trave, it was the leading city of the Hanseatic League, and because of its extensive Brick Gothic architecture is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

The old part of Lübeck is on an island enclosed by the Trave. The Elbe–Lübeck Canal connects the Trave with the Elbe River. Another important river near the town centre is the Wakenitz. Tidemann Lemberg from Dortmund 1310-1386
The Hanse merchant who took the English crown as a pledge. Already born as the son of a merchant, the ruthless and profit-loving Lemberg gained great wealth, especially with the trading of wool and tin. As an investor of the English King Edward III and the head of a creditors' cooperation, the English crown jewels were given to him as a pledge. He was appointed administrator of the royal court and state banker. He temporarily controlled the entire tin trade in England. He aquired some privileges as a creditor to the Pope in Avignon, such as carrying around a portable altar and a priest with him. His success attracted many begrudgers so he perpetually had to fight with hostilities both in England and Dortmund. He died childless in Cologne and was buried in a tin coffin. He donated his wealth accumulated during his lifetime to e.g. the monastery of St. Barbara and the Augustinian monastery in Cologne.
